    When you or I hold an expectation for something it tends to fall in one of three basic categories. An expectation can go unfulfilled, it can be met, or an expectation can be exceeded.

    Upon walking into Country Boy Cutz for the first time, it could certainly be said that the environment there well exceeded my expectations.

  • There were days and nights when Linda Buonomo wasn't sure she was going to pull through.

    Her husband had died from a fierce battle with bladder cancer. Her family was in South Florida. She lost the home that she and her husband lived in.

    It was dire times.

    "I was ready to give up on everything," Linda said, from her Bronson apartment last week. "A little rock literally saved my life."

    WCCA Middle School Drama will present The Misadventures of Romeo and Juliet by Stephen Frankenfield Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5 at 7 p.m.

    Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students/children.

    Concessions will be available.

    All proceeds will benefit the WCCA Drama team.

    Easter Egg Hunt

    The Rotary Club of Williston will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt and hot dog luncheon Saturday, April 6 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at John Henry Park, Williston.

    Woman's Club Playhouse

    The GFWC Williston Woman's Club will host two more performances of Murder on the Oriental Rug at 7 p.m. Friday, March 15 and March 16.

    Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.

    The show features Danny Bennett, Mandy Fugate, Susan Travis, Penny Boyer and Mark Poupard.

    The 8th Annual Williston on Wheels, a car show sponsored by The Friends of the Williston Police Department, will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at the Williston Municipal Airport.

    The airport is located south of Williston off SR 121 – 1800 SW 19th Ave.
