    Clothes Give-Away

    First Baptist Church Williston is once again opening its clothes closet for the annual Back-to-School Clothes Give-Away Saturday, Aug, 4, 9 a.m. - noon in the Family Life Center.

    New and clean, gently used garments are available for the whole family - babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, women and men.

    If you have any questions or have clothes you would like to donate to this effort, call the church office at 352-528-4331.

    Wishing for an easy way to meet candidates for office and ask about issues that matter to you? If so, mark your calendar for the 2018 Candidates Forum. This free nonpartisan event will be Saturday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Williston Middle/High School cafetorium.

    Exhibitors are needed for the Starving Artists Showcase, sponsored by the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce, to be held Saturday, June 9 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in Williston’s Heritage Park.

    Artists in all media are invited to participate to showcase and sell their work. 

    Booth space is available for $15 per booth.

    Haven is hosting a Love & Remembrance Spring Memorial on Thursday, April 26 at 6 p.m. at the Haven Community Building located at 311 NE 9th St., Chiefland.
