-A A +A

To the editor:
On behalf of the Central Florida Peanut Festival and the Williston Area Chamber of   Commerce, we would like to take this opportunity to thank one and all involved in this year’s 22nd  Annual Peanut Festival.
The city of Williston and its employees as always provided invaluable assistance in preparing Heritage Park to make this event a success.
Thanks to the scores of other volunteers who once again gave of their time and energy to afford a venue which highlights the beauty and charm of our town.
Thanks to the hard working people who helped to underscore one of our area’s most important crops.
Once again the Williston Pioneer, an integral part of this community provided us  with the exposure required to make this event a success.
Because of your enthusiasm, involvment and pride in our community we were once again able to provide people with a relaxing, entertaining day for families not only from our community but all of Central Florida and beyond.
And many thanks to our sponsors: O’Connor & Company, Southern Ag Carriers, city of Williston, Walgreens, Perkins State Bank, Tri County Oil Distributors, Two Tails Ranch and Kline Electric.
