Thankful for all the help

To the editor:

There can be no greater honor and glory than to have the very best attend to one's cries for help. Accolades of excellence can then be shared forever. During my four decades of communicating with tens of thousands of fans, it was truly rewarding and always a privilege to boast about our finest.

Little did I know it would be the supreme combo of the Orthopedic Institute  and NFRMC that would provide me the much needed relief of a total hip replacement.

Beginning with the very first introduction, I was treated ever so much with compassion and thoroughness of explaining every detail to making me feel very special, allowing me to exude pride with every staff member I was introduced to.

My adopted home can be assured, if ever needed, the truly remarkable team of caregivers and their tender care will be felt from the very first moment upon arrival. There certainly is no higher plateau than to serve our community each and every day with the highest quality of passion, perfection and dedication.

In this 21st century, we are truly the most fortunate ones to have simply the best standing ready to help us overcome our hurdles. But, total recovery was only possible through the weekly stops of  Kirby and Ty plus Sheila, Kelly, Joyce and Razzle from Kindred at Home.

So, day after day as a new Johnny has been blessed with a glimmer of a new life with the cruel master pain not in charge.

Sorry to ramble on, but no matter where you call the Nature Coast home, from Cedar Key back to Bronson, or Trenton  over to Williston, be assured legends stand ready to help you.

I was even out  grilling this morn, two months after surgery, and I'm now ready for scallop season.
