Morriston Baptist

Morriston Baptist Church invites the community to participate in several special events during Easter Weekend, April 20-21.

An Outdoor Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 21 at 7 a.m. will kick-off “Resurrection Sunday” morning. This service is held annually at the church located on the corner of County Road 326 and Highway 41 in Morriston. Following this service, everyone is invited to enjoy a community-wide country breakfast with all the trimmings.

The Worship Service will begin at 10 a.m. with music provided by the Praise Team and a special message, “The Arrival” presented by Bro. Keith Stewart.

A children’s community-wide Easter Egg Hunt (ages 3 through 5th grade) will be held after the 10 a.m. service. Candy, prizes, crafts and refreshments will be provided.

Another annual event, Passover Seder, is planned for Saturday, April 20 at 6 p.m. This is a “teaching Seder” which includes a kosher meal and a presentation of the history, symbolism and relevancy of this important Jewish ordinance for today’s Christian.

Morriston Baptist Church is located at 3141 SE Highway 41. A nursery is always provided for infants through 3 years and Children’s Church is available for kids 4 -7 years.

EASTER WORSHIP SERVICE: Join us Sunday, April 21 at 10:45 a.m. as we celebrate the Risen Savior.

Williston Church of God

Lift Up Your Eyes, an Easter musical, will be performed by the Williston Church of God Choir 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20 and at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 21.
