A 49-year-old race worker was killed Sunday at the Bronson Speedway when a vehicle lost control and wound up in the infield.
The following people were sentenced in Levy County courts during March:
Paul Lavell Alexander Jr., VOP on 2 counts of cocaine possession, probation reinstated and modified to have curfew from 7 p.m.-6 a.m. Must pay probation and VOP costs.
• Sept. 12, Jospeph Ray Ainsworth, 20, Orange City, VOP.
• Sept. 9, Raheal Andres, 32, Bronson, no valid drivers license, $500 bond.

The Lady Red Devils were able to get their first victory of the season last Wednesday, as they defeated North Marion High School in a thrilling comeback at home. Williston had trailed two games to one but were able to rally back and win 3 - 2.
