  • Sheriff's Reports

    The Levy County Sheriff’s Office reports the following arrests:

    Jeremiah Anthony Tisdale, 27, of Bronson was charged Nov. 24 with grand theft after he allegedly stole a 2003 Honda four-wheeler valued at $6,000. He was released on his own recognizance.

    Francisco Mijares, 26, of Bronson was charged Oct. 24 with Violation of Probation (VOP) scheming to defraud. No bond.

    Chad Daniel Cochran, 33, of Perry was arrested Nov. 24 and charged with Failure to Appear (FTA) driving while license suspended or revoked (DWLSR) knowingly. Bond was $5,000.

    The Levy County Sheriff’s Officer reports the following arrests:

    Alonzo Jay Harden, 27, of Trenton was arrested Nov. 15 and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and domestic battery. Bond was $17,000.

  • Man charged with lewd and lascivious molestation

    A Williston man, who deputies say is not a United States resident, has been charged with lewd and lascivious molestation on a two-year-old while his girl friend was charged with neglect of a child.

    Alexander Merida, 32, and Christina Morales, 28, were arrested Nov. 20 after an investigator with the Department of Children and Families was called to their residents on NE 48 Street.

  • Sheriff's Reports

    Dean Martin Littlefield, 38, of Silver Springs was charged on two VOP warrants for less than 20 grams of marijua-

    na and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was $10,000.

    Jose Javier Ibarra-Correa, 25, of Bronson was charged with no driver’s license. Bond was $5,000.

    Chad Floyd Jeter, 30, of Atmore was charged with first degree robbery on an Alabama warrant. Bond was $250,000.

    Jeffrey Vernon Coleman, 18, of Gainesville was arrested on a VOP warrant for possession of cannabis with the intent to sell. No bond.

  • Williston Police Reports

    The Williston Police Department reports the following arrests:

    • Stevie Lee Neison, 27, of Reddick, charged Nov. 7 with driving while license suspended or revoked (DWLSR).

    • Brandon Jeffrey Fairweather, 18, of NE SR 121, Williston, charged Nov. 7 with DUI.

    • Michael R. Hammock, 42, of SE 2nd Street, Williston, charged Nov. 6 with DWLSR.

    • Patrick D. Hughey, 18, of NE 3rd Avenue, Williston, charged Nov. 9 with disorderly intoxication and possession of alcoholic beverages by persons under age 21.

  • Williston woman charged with domestic battery

    A Williston woman has been charged with domestic aggravated battery after she followed the victim outside wielding a knife.

    Felicia Carnegie Days, 52, was arrested Nov. 16 after deputies responded to a domestic dispute at her home at NE 207 Court.

    The victim told Deputy E. Anderson that during a heated argument, he tried to leave the residence but Days followed him and later allegedly cut his arm with the knife, leaving a one-inch laceration.

    The Levy County Sheriff’s Office reports the following arrests:

    William R. Wachtstetter, 56, of Ocklawaha was charged Nov. 5 with grand theft after his tenant reported more than $30,000 in farm equipment and tools missing from his property. Bond was $50,000.

    Jarvis O’Brian Green, 21, of Chiefland was charged Nov. 6 with possession of crack cocaine. Bond was $10,000.

    Alexis Troy Mullins, 24, of Chiefland was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with possession of crack cocaine and sell of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church. Bond was $30,000.

  • Man charged with second degree murder after wife shot

    In October Felicia Ann "Red" Fine, 22, and Charles Edwin Duke, 23, picked up a marriage license. They had been in an off and on relationship for several years.

    They returned from their honeymoon on Nov. 3 and Fine, who worked as a front desk clerk at Island House in Cedar Key, went to work the next day. Duke did not go to work.

    When she came home, the couple argued about money, alcohol and an unpaid credit card bill at their home near Southwest 95th Avenue.

  • Woman charged with fraud, grand theft

    Williston police have charged a Gainesville woman with grand theft, forgery, uttering a forged instrument and criminal use of personal information after she allegedly stole a check and credit card numbers from a Williston resident.

    Aja A. Hammonds, 26, was arrested in late October.

    According to the police report, Hammonds cashed a stolen check in the amount of $3,000 at Perkins State Bank. A surveillance tape shows her entering the bank and speaking with a teller.

    The following information is taken from public records provided by the Levy County Sheriff’s Office.

    Jose Anival Alva, 26, of Fanning Springs, charged with indecent exposure, disorderly/intoxication. Bail was $5,000.

    Kyle Jason Arsenault, 23, of Cedar Key, charged with DUI (driving under the influence). He was released.

    William C. Cobb, 63, of Bronson, charged with two counts of domestic battery, No bond.
