The Williston Police Dept. announces the following arrests:

Michael Bonaccorsi, 25, of Northeast 46th Street, Williston, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, Edocet which has an active ingredient of oxycodone, after he was searched during a traffic stop for an expired tag.

Kenneth Alex McClellan, 34, of Southeast 4th Street, Williston, was arrested on a warrant of civil order of arrest, failure to pay child support.

* John Nicholas Arcangeli, 24, of Northeast 8th Street, Williston, was arrested on a warrant for grand theft and dealing in stolen property after detectives recovered a television, video game system and flashlight. Total bond, $75,000.

* Kevin C. Bailey Jr., 27, of Belleview, was charged with burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief after a Morriston resident came home and allegedly caught the suspect taking items from his residence. Total bond was $17,500.

After a ceremony last week, it will be a little easier for residents to remember what sacrifice Williston Police Cpl. David Moss paid for them on a fateful night 20 years ago.

At an annual police memorial, Williston unveiled a street sign renaming a stretch of Southwest Main Street, between Southwest First Avenue and Noble Avenue, in honor of the only officer ever killed in the line of duty from the Williston police force.

Moss confronted a suspect in the early morning hours of July 30, 1988, and the two exchanged gunfire. Both were killed in the incident.

The Williston Police Dept. reports the following arrests:

* Mark Richard Billings, 27, of Northeast 124th Terrace, Williston, was charged with DUI after being stopped for weaving on the road.

* Macario Solis Herrera, 31, of Southeast 5th Terrace, Williston, was charged with disorderly intoxication and breach of peace after he was pounding on the door of a house on Northeast 1st Avenue. He could not tell the officer where he lived.
