A series of burglaries in the Bronson area may have been cleared by the arrest of a local man by the Levy County Sheriff’s Office.

Lacey Howard, 30, of East Main Street, Bronson, was arrested for burglary and criminal mischief at Cole’s Four Corners and Capano’s Restaurant. He was also charged with criminal mischief at Capital City Bank and for burglary and petit theft at Progressive Insurance.

He was also arrested on a Levy County warrant for felony criminal mischief. His total bond was set at $41,500.

Brett Parker Watts, 21, of Northeast 113th Lane, Bronson, was accused of armed burglary and theft of a firearm after he allegedly stole several firearms from a home in Chiefland. He was also accused of domestic battery and aggravated domestic assault for an incident with the person who drove him to the home of the victim and reportedly didn’t know he was going to steal the guns. Deputies also recovered some of the weapons from a home in Newberry, just across the Levy County line. He also faces several charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

One of Levy County's most wanted suspects was arrested without incident on Friday, March 20.

According to a news release from Williston Investigator James Bond, members of the U.S. Marshal's Office, the Levy County Sheriff's Office task force, the Williston Police Department and the Probation Department caught up with the suspect,

Allen Mack, 36, at 450 S.E. 144th Ave. in Williston. From information received earlier in the day, he was believed to be staying with a co-worker at the Highlands area address.

The Williston Police Department has announced the following arrests:

Seth Aaron Schneider, 25, of Ocala, was charged with possession of cannabis less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tiffany K. Sams, 28, of Southeast 10th Street, Williston, was accused of domestic battery and felony battery, giving false information of a crime and aggravated battery with a weapon.
