    May 16, Ryan Kent Beach, 29, Fanning Springs, fleeing, robbery with a firearm. Bond $525,000.

    May 14, Stephanie Ann Carlisle, 20, Bronson, VOP. Bond $10,000.

    May 18, J.D. Crawford, 46, Cedar Key, DUI.

    May 18, Paul Douglas Creswell, 43, Orlando, battery. Bond $10,000.

    May 2, Brett Byers, 41, St. Petersburg, DWLSR. Bond $500.

    April 20, Armand R. Campanile, 53, Sanford, out of county warrant. Bond $500.

    May 5, Franklin D. Clark, 75, Tampa, DWLSR.

    April 29, Larry Joe Colson, 39, Suwannee, out of county warrant. Bond $3,500.

    May 5, Nichole Michelle Fain, 36, Inglis, grand theft.

  • Inmates escape from museum work detail

    Two Department of Corrections inmates attempted to escape last week while on work detail at the  Levy County Quilt Museum. 

    Levy County Sheriff's Office received a call from the Department of Corrections advising that two inmates had walked away and were last seen heading west from the Quilt Museum.

  • Levy courts hand down sentences

    The following people were sentenced in Levy County courts during December 2012:
    Tanja C. Alston, VOP on aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, revoke and terminate probation, 27 months with credit for 177 days. Must pay civil judgment, jail fund, VOP cost.
    Zachary David Armlin, larceny between $300-$5,000, 3 counts of burglary, adjudication withheld on each, 24 months probation on each, served concurrently. Must pay probation cost.

  • Predator changes address

     On March 21, Johnny Jerome King registered as a Sexual Predator with the Levy County Sheriff's Office. By Florida law King is required to notify law enforcement whenever he changes addresses.

  • Levy courts hand down sentences

    The following people were sentenced in Levy County courts during October 2012:
    David Apling, VOP on possession and sale of controlled substance, revoke probation, 30 months with credit for 339 days served on each, served concurrently. Must pay VOP cost, civil judgment and jail fund.
    Lloy Frances Balboni, VOP on possession of controlled substance, adjudication withheld, reinstate and modify probation. Must pay VOP cost, civil judgment and probation cost.
