Everybody has places where they are the most comfortable. When a person (Yours Truly) is out of their comfortable place there is a certain, what should I say, discomfort. There are two places where I am the most comfortable.
The first place is behind my computer writing. The second place is behind my pulpit preaching.
Hunting can be hard. I have witnessed this many times. These last three days were another example. Each day started at four o’clock in the morning and we arrived back home at about ten each night. Most nights we got to bed at about midnight. I’m tired.
Peace Lutheran Church resumed Sunday morning Adult Bible Study and Sunday School, at 9 a.m. The adult class is currently studying the parables. Everyone is welcome.
Other Bible study groups meet on Wednesday at 10 a.m., and at 6:30 p.m. The 6:30 group enjoys a potluck meal prior to Bible study.

Holy Family Catholic Church will hold a fish fry at the Parish Hall, located three miles north of the town of Williston on Hwy 27A, Friday, Oct. 8 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Fish, french fries, hushpuppies, drinks, dessert and your choice of two sides of baked beans, coleslaw, or grits will be served.
Costs are: adults $7, senior citizen meal (slightly smaller portion) $6 and children $4 (under 12). Take out orders welcome.

Evangelist Bob Fisher will hold special services at Cornerstone Assembly of God Sunday through Wednesday, Oct. 3-6.
