    The Levy County Fair Association has announced the following contests and competitions at the upcoming Fair:
    Thursday, April 11
    1-6 p.m.    Poster Contest Entries Accepted
    4-8 p.m.    Country Critters Entries Accepted
    4-8 p.m.    Creative Arts Entries Accepted (No Baked Goods until Tomorrow)
    Friday, April 12
    9 a.m. – noon  Baked Goods Accepted
    5 p.m.    Jr. Karaoke Competition – Cash Awards First 15 Registered Only

      Saturday, March 9

    Tri-County Pregnancy Center  will host a talent show for middle and high school students (grades 6-12).
    Free auditions will take place Saturday, March 9 at 10 a.m. at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church, 1045 NE 6th Blvd, Williston, next door to the Woman's Club on State Road 121.  
    This will be the only audition opportunity, so it is vital that all potential contestants attend.

    The Friends of the Bronson Library  will have their Fall Book Sale at the Bronson Library Saturday, Sept. 15  from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    Books will be priced as follows:  Hardbacks $1each or 6/$5 and paperbacks will be 10 cents each or 12/$1

    The Levy County Democratic Committee will meet at the Bronson Restaurant Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m.

    FOL Book Sale
    Friends of the Williston Public Library will hold its first book sale since June on Saturday, Sept. 1 from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
    The sale will be held in the City Hall Community Center. Volunteers to help sort books are asked to come Friday at 9 a.m.
    Many books have been donated since June and the prices as always are low. Hardbacks are $1; soft backs, 50 cents; paper backs 25 cents, children's and magazines 10 cents. Tapes, both audio and videos are $1.

    Bronson Friends of the Library will host  Family Movie Night at the  Bronson Library  Friday, July 20. “Happy Feet” will be shown at 6:30 p.m.  There will be popcorn and juice.

    AARP Chapter 912
    AARP Chapter 912 will meet Monday, May 14 at 9:30 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church Hall.  The speaker will be Tamara Wooda, PA-C, from Palms Medical Group. This will be the last regular meeting until September.
