They join Norma Myers of Bronson, who is the 2nd Vice President.

    Library program

    is tonight

    The Friends of the Williston Library will feature a dance program from Gainesville to celebrate Black History Month in February. The African Cultural dance ensemble, directed by Femi Kako Addie, will appear at 7 p.m. in the library on Thursday, Feb. 19.

    Femi also plays drums along with Robert Glaser to effect the beat for the dancers, who are Queen Chiku-Ngozi and Yetunde.

    The event is free and open to the public. Reservations are not necessary.

    The GFWC Williston Junior Woman’s Club has set the date for the annual Daddy’s Sweetheart Dance.

    The dance will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, from 6-8 p.m. at the Williston Woman’s Club located at 1049 N.E. 6th Blvd. The dance is open to all girls in kindergarten through 5th grade.
