    Chamber Mixer

    PuroClean will sponsor a Williston Chamber of Commerce Mixer Thursday, June 29 from 5-6:30 p.m. at 703 NW 7th Blvd., Williston.

    Guest speaker will be Michael Chung from the Small Business Development Council. Chung will offer information and tips on how business owners can help grow their businesses.

    There will be food, drinks, raffles and opportunity to network with other business owners.

    WAG Adoption Events

    The Williston Animal Group (WAG) will host adoption events the second and fourth Saturday of each month beginning at Winn Dixie Saturday, June 24.

    Pups and information will be there from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

    WAG will sponsor these events through September. Please ask your friends and family to come and support finding these animals forever homes.

    WE SOAR, Inc. will host its 2017 Summer Enrichment Program June 5-Aug. 12 offering piano/keyboard lessons, drums/percussion lessons, dance, pantomime and drama.

    Sessions will start in the evening from 6:30-8/9 p.m. at various locations.

    The city of Williston will host another Movie in the Park Friday, May 26 at the Heritage Park Pavilion beginning at 7:30 p.m. No admission. Free popcorn and drinks.

    Dementia Support Group

    A local support group for caregivers who are coping with loved ones suffering from dementia will have its first meeting Saturday, May 27 from 1-3 p.m. in the community center at Williston City Hall, 50 NW Main St.

    Movie in the Park

    The city of Williston will present a Movie in the Park Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at the Heritage Park Pavilion.

    Admission is free and popcorn and drink will be provided free of charge. Bring a chair or blanket and your family and enjoy.

    Timber Harvesting Class

    The College of Central Florida will launch its new Timber Harvesting Equipment Program May 8. The deadline to apply for the program is Friday, April 28.

    The Levy County Public Libraries will host rock painting at all its libraries in April. Open to all ages, the event will begin at 6 p.m. and all materials are provided.
