The Williston Regional Art Promotion will be held Saturday, May 2, at the Williston Woman’s Club on State Road 121 North.
One of the entertainment features will be Donovan, the Magician. Donovan comes to us with a wealth of experience, having appeared not only locally at Highlands Country Club, The Villages, Inglis and Yankeetown but he also toured the country as Ronald McDonald in his early years.
Donovan, James R. Partington, was born in Anderson, Ind. He learned as a 12-year-old from the legendary Harry Blackstone, Sr. While he loves performing magic for children he finds working with adults a challenge and has done some of his best tricks on cruise ships such as the Love Boat. Donovan has wowed audiences with feats of magic from the Hoosier Dome to Las Vegas.
We are especially delighted to welcome his appearance on stage at 2 p.m. on the front porch of the Williston Woman’s Club clubhouse.
