After months of wheeling and dealing–and debating whether or not to solicit bids from other utility providers–the Williston City Council voted Tuesday night to enter into a four-year contract with Progress Energy, it’s current electricity provider.
Last month, the council had an offer from Progress Energy if the city would not advertise a request for proposals (RFP) from other companies.
