Lt. Scott Tummond from the Levy County Sheriff's Office just told the Williston Pioneer that the schools are in "secured campus" mode. Additional personnel are on the scene and schools are "functioning as normal" and will dismiss at the regular time. The secured campus mode was enacted after a violent act in Alachua County this morning and officers in Williston have ensured that both schools and students are safe.
