A Bronson man was arrested by Williston Police and charged with felony attempted carjacking and misdemeanor theft after an incident on Dec. 16.
Victor Manuel Alicea Ortiz, 36, of Northeast 105th Avenue, allegedly walked up to a woman's car in the Williston Subway parking lot and began talking to her and her passenger. He then ordered them out of their car as he began to unzip his jacket, police said, but the driver fled the scene and contacted police.
