Williston police reports

With the price of recycled materials going up, police say the chances of theft are rising also.

On April 9 Williston Police arrested Malina Gaye Browning, 39, of Southeast Fourth Street, and Robert Rutlin, 49, of Southeast Fourth Drive, on charges of dealing in stolen property.

The two were charged with taking a variety of items from a local yard and then taking it to a local recycling company.

A Williston woman was arrested last week on six warrants, two each from Marion, Levy and Alachua counties.
