A Williston man was killed Sunday when the roof of a mobile home collapsed on him.
Espiridion "Pete" Zamora, 78, was working with relatives on dismantling an old mobile home in an area of northwest Marion County.
He was outside while a pair of family members were inside. The house collapsed while the two men were working inside.
They were able to escape, but the roof came apart on Zamora, who was killed.
Marion County rescue officials reached the scene quickly but could not revive the victim. A sheriff's spokesman said the death was ruled accidental.
