Two people were arrested Monday morning on drug charges after a Levy County deputy became suspicious while serving a Violation of Probation warrant at the Bronson Motel.
K-9 Deputy Kevin Kinik held the outstanding warrant on Johnny Lee Patterson. The VOP warrant stemmed from charges of dealing in stolen property and burglary.
The deputy was told that Patterson was in room 16 at the motel, but upon arrival learned differently from the manager who said room 24 was occupied by an unregistered tenant.
