“Get Healthy While Still Watching TV” is a free class hosted by the Levy County Health Department to help you get more active in your daily life. The class is for anyone who wants to become healthier. The class will teach basic exercise, light stretches, and tips on how to get many basic nutritional facts. Participants will learn how to be more active in their life, even when they are just watching T.V. By the end of the class, participants will know their physical activity level and have designed a plan to become more active. A free pedometer will be given to anyone who attends class!
Class will be held at the Agricultural Office in Bronson on March 24th from 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. The address is 625 N. Hathaway Ave. (27A) in Bronson.
to present “Bugz”
The Kindergarten classes of Joyce Bullock Elementary announce this year’s spring program, “Bugz”. Students in Mrs. Beckham’s, Mrs. Edwards’, Mrs. LeBlond’s, Mrs. Harper’s, and Ms. Appling’s classes will present their program Tuesday, March 24.
The Thursday, March 26, performance will feature students in Ms. Kramer’s, Mrs. Stone’s, Mrs. Bastak’s, Ms. Sims’ and Mrs. Gordon’s classes.
Students will perform at 9:30 a.m. for a portion of the student body, and at 7 p.m. for parents and friends. Everyone is invited to come out to the Williston High School Auditorium and enjoy watching these young performers delight us with their musical and dramatic talents.
Soil board to meet
The Levy Soil and Water Conservation District board will hold an emergency meeting on Tuesday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the USDA Service Center, Bronson. A copy of the agenda may be obtained by contacting Darlene Smith at 486-2672, ext. 3.
Easter egg hunt
is March 28
The Rotary Club of Williston will be hosting its annual Easter egg hunt on March 28th.
The hunt will begin at 10 a.m. at the Johnny Henry Memorial Park.
The Easter egg hunt is free to all children from the Williston, Morriston, and Bronson areas and is intended for children up to 10 years old.
As usual, hot dogs, chips, and a drink will be provided for each participant.
Children need only to bring their own basket and show up ready for the hunt.
