Leviticus event to start on Friday
New Abundant Life Church will hold a Leviticus Conference Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7-8, at 7 p.m. There will be singing each night. Also on Saturday, there will be a morning workshop at 10 a.m.

Revival planned at Bronson church beginning Sunday
The Bronson Church of God will hold a revival from Sunday, Dec. 9, through Wednesday, Dec. 12. The first service will start at 6 p.m., and Monday-Wednesday services will be at 7 p.m. Guest speaker will be Big Mo of Big Mo Ministries.
Also, the church will hold a Christmas program on Sunday, Dec. 15, starting at 6 p.m. It will be performed by the Christian Players of the Bronson Church of God.
Christmas cantata at United Methodist
The Rev. Dr. David Paul and the Adult Choir of Williston First United Methodist Church invite you to their Christmas cantata, "City of Light", Sunday evening, Dec. 9. The service starts at 6 p.m. This masterful work, created and arranged by Tom Fettke, tells the beautiful Christmas story once again but with some different angles and new twists. You'll hear new Christmas songs juxtaposed with old carols. You'll even have a chance to sing along.
We want the community to experience the warmth and power of the Christmas story once again. Make room in your heart for the Christ child this Christmas season. Share the good news of His Birth and the light of His life. Come worship the newborn king with us: "City of Light", Sunday evening, Dec. 9.
Ventriloquist visits Morriston church for Sunday show
Nationally known gospel singing ventriloquist team David and Rusty will be ministering on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. at Highlands Baptist Church, Morriston.
They travel full time from Florida to California. They have brought a lot of laughter and joy to audiences across America through their personal appearances and on television with their Christian humor and Southern Gospel-style singing.
The church is located 5 1/2 miles west of U.S. 41 on Country Road 326 in Morriston.
Walk to Bethlehem at Morriston event Dec. 9-23
Take an imaginary tour with Mary and Joseph as they make the long journey to Bethlehem. Experience the history of the Bible in every step. There will also be a traditional lighting display and fun stuff for the children. Bring your camera.
The event is Dec. 9 through the 23rd from 7-9 p.m. at Living Water Life Center, 4551 S.E. State Road 121, Morriston.
Fair Association to meet for plans for 2008 gathering
Following what it says was a great success in 2007, the Levy County Fair Association intends to begin reviewing and planning for the 2008 fair.
All who wish to join the association and participate in planning may begin by attending the monthly member meetings scheduled to start up on Dec. 13, (the second Thursday of each month to follow) at 6:30 p.m.
The location of the December meeting will be the Williston Community Center, along side Williston City Hall. The 2008 meeting schedule will be determined at the next meeting.
Boy Scouts serve spaghetti dinner at fund-raiser
Boy Scout Troop 163 will be serving a spaghetti dinner at the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church on Sunday, Dec. 9 immediately following morning services. The proceeds go toward supporting troop activities and a donation of $5 is suggested. Take out dinners are available.
Memory tree set to help remember deceased pets
The Williston Animal Group is hosting a Holiday Memory Tree to honor and remember those loving animals which have passed form our life, but which we would like to remember at this time.
For a $5 donation, an ornament with the name of your furry or feathered friend will be placed on the Holiday Tree which will stand at the intersection of Main and Noble, in front of The Levy Insurance Office for all to see. After the Holiday season, the ornament will be yours to keep.

Free concert in Morriston
A free Christmas concert will be presented by Wade Hammond at Morriston Baptist Church on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Wade Hammond is a Christian singer, songwriter and Dove Award nominee. He has appeared on TBN, The Miracle Channel and Family Net. He sings a variety of music including praise and worship, inspirational, hymns and gospel. His songs reach people of all ages. His stories make you laugh and cry, but more importantly each genuinely touches the heart.
This Christmas, Wade and his wife are coping with the recent loss of their grown son in a tragic accident. Wade will share how his faith gets him through each day in hopes of ministering to others hurting during this holiday season.
