Three men are in the Dade County Jail without bond following their arrests connected with the July 4 burglary at Lane’s Yardware on East Noble Avenue.
Alexei Rosbal Peredes of Hialeah, Fimichel Pena Mazo of Hialeah and Firafael Sofia Mustelier of Miami were arrested following an investigation by the Williston Police Department and a team of officers from the Coral Springs, Hialeah and Opalocka Police Departments.
Law enforcement agents made a surprise visit to a flea market and located more than 30 stolen items from seven Florida counties.
Other storage buildings containing power equipment have be located and secured. The contents of the buildings will be inspected by detectives in the coming days to determine if they too contain stolen items. Many items that have been located have the serial numbers removed and detectives are attempting to determine if they too are in fact stolen and from where. Due to the complex nature of the investigation and the multiple jurisdictions that are involved the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has been asked to assist in the investigation.
The three men arrested are facing multiple counts of dealing in stolen property and possession of stolen property.
