The Levy County Sheriff’s Office, which has been trying to find money to hire more dispatchers for its busy communications center found the answer next door at the jail.
Maj. Evan Sullivan, head of law enforcement, requested and received unanimous approval to move $41,157.18 from the jail budget to the dispatch budget during Tuesday’s regular County Commission meeting.
