This fellow, a venomous coral snake, was found Monday around noon on 180 Avenue, Williston by Stan Harvey, Williston homeowner and retired Broward County Animal Control Officer. Harvey reminds residents these poisonous, but beautiful, snakes inhabit this area and they need to be aware when working or playing outdoors. The snake was taken to a more remote location and released. In doubt? Remember this little rhyme: Red touches yellow, kills a fellow. Red touches black, friend of Jack.
