Freshman Cody Head took the mound for the Williston Red Devils in the final game of the Challenge.
Head pitched like a veteran allowing just one run with three  base hits as the Red Devils took the win in five innings 11-1 over the West Port Wolf Pack.
The Red Devil offense was solidly behind the freshman as they scored in all five innings on their way to the win.
Leading 5-0 going into the top of the fourth inning the Red Devils gave up the lone run to the Wolf Pack as lead off batter Mike Toth led off with a single. Toth scored with two outs in the inning preventing the shut out for the Red Devil Freshman.
The Red Devils answered in the bottom of the fourth with 4 runs off hits by Covin Terrell (triple), Connor Clayton (triple), Austin Etheridge (double), Bradley Jones (single), and Justin Forsythe (single) to take a 9-1 lead.
The Wolf Pack left a runner in scoring position in the top of the fifth inning.
Jared Caswell led off the bottom of the fifth inning with a double for the Red Devils. Dylan Blalock then scored Caswell with a single putting the Red Devils ahead 10-1.
Justin Fausett  then ended the game with a dribbler to the pitcher that was over thrown to first base allowing Blalock to cross home plate for the 10 run-rule ending.
The Red Devils overall season record now stands at 500.
