To the editor:
Tuesday night the supporters of Obama went to the Island Room for dinner and drinks and got a chance to view election returns.
Since the returns were not conclusive, they retired to the home of two members of the group and were pleased to see the campaign go very quickly for Obama.
The final acceptance speech was not ready until 2 a.m. What a strong finish Obama had! He spoke of hope, working together and being the President of the United States, of all the people, whether they voted for him or not.
