By Friday at noon, Williston residents will know their choices for the 2013 city council election.
Three posts are up for grabs in the March 5 election:
• Group A is the seat formerly held by Norm Fugate, who resigned last Tuesday.
• Group B is the seat once filled by Marc Nussel. After Nussel’s resignation in 2011, Elihu Ross was appointed to the position.
• Group C is the seat filled by Jerry Robinson, who resigned in 2012. Cal Byrd was appointed to fill that chair.
At press time, Jack Screws qualified for the Group A seat and both Ross and Byrd qualified for the seats they currently hold. Debra Jones also qualified for Group C. A full list of candidates will be on our website and Facebook page Friday.
