Prepaid scholarship reassigned to WHS grad

A Williston High School senior is receiving a prepaid tuition scholarship from a local woman who had intended to provide the education to her late granddaughter. Samantha Lewis will attend the University of Florida and study business, advertising and communications.

Doris Young, who has had a stroke and is confined to a wheelchair, had purchased Florida pre-paid college educations for her grandchildren. However, one of those children, Sarah E. Adams, died in Pembroke Pines.
