It will be in the first quarter of 2010 before Progress Energy can assess the full scope of where it stands on two proposed nuclear power plants in Levy County
Carla Groleau, community relations manager for the utility, told Williston Rotarians Tuesday that there has been a shift in scheduling but the company is hoping for a realignment early in the new year.
The combined operating license, issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, is next on Progress Energy’s scheduled timeline, she said.
