William L. Bedford

William L. Bedford, 71, of Ormond Beach and formerly of Bronson and Margate, died June 1, 2012 following a short illness.

He was born Dec. 11, 1940 in Teaneck, N.J.  and also lived in Bayville, N.J.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy as a machinist for eight years.  

He was a volunteer fireman for many years and fire chief of the Bayville Volunteer Fire Department.

  He worked in hospital maintenance until he retired.
