Joyce Bullock Elementary School administrators are taking extra precaution this fall to ensure they know just who is on their campus.
Frances LaSalle, assistant principal, came before the Williston Chamber of Commerce last week to inform members of software the school hopes to purchase to help regulate the more than 6,000 visitors to their school each year.
LaSalle said the new software would scan a visitor’s driver’s license and would tap into the sex offender database to alert administrators to any potentially dangerous guests at the school.
