Chantilly Place in Bronson

By Steve Jarboe

Since 1996 Terri McGinty has been operating her business located in Dr. Henderson’s office just behind Nature Coast Hospital in Williston. In March of this year Terri and her daughter Laci opened Chantilly Place in Bronson, at 150 N. Hathaway Ave.

Terri has been a licensed massage therapist and full specialist since attending the Tampa SunCoast School of Massage, and is also a licensed full specialist, which involves skin care, waxing, makeup, and nails.

Laci has attended school to become a nail technician to work with her mother while she is continuing her education in the agriculture field. She would like to become an agriculture teacher after obtaining her agriculture degree.

Terri has always wanted to have her own business where she could provide all the services other than massage therapy. Thus she opened Chantilly Place in Bronson.

When you walk in the door you will find a tastefully decorated building with a warm aromatic atmosphere unlike you find in a doctor’s office. Chantilly Place is designed to offer quality customer service, whether your visit is for massage therapy, or just a relaxing facial, or a nail beautification.

Terri also offers deep cleansing facials, ear candling, as well as cupping. Cupping is a process that increases blood flow to affected areas that require the presence of good blood circulation to promote healing. Ear candling is a deep cleaning of the ear canals that helps to relieve certain sinus and allergy conditions for some of her customers.

Terri has a wide range of repeat customers for various stages of massage therapy. Men as well as women have commented that the massage therapy has allowed them to continue to perform their jobs after many years. Terri performs medical as well as relaxation massage therapy.

There is also a tanning bed available for those on the go with too little time for outdoor sunbathing.

All the services at Chantilly Place are provided by appointment only. However, there have been a few times Terri has been called well into the evening to help a customer in severe pain.

While at your appointment you can also shop the boutique items offered as well as a display of Premier Jewelry. “Our customers can see the actual pieces of jewelry before they order and know what they will be getting,” Terri said.

There are wickless candles by Scentsy, which come in over 80 different scents that have been a real popular item.

There is also the Gourmet Cupboard, which consists of various dry mix soups, breads, cakes, pies, cookies, dips, and gourmet coffees.

Also available are various vitamins, herbs, and essential oils.

You can stop by Chantilly Place Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Or better yet you can call Terri or Laci for an appointment at 486-2003.

Terri is still available in her Williston office at 528-5433.
