A man living in a group home on NE 35 Street, Williston was charged Tuesday with 13 counts of criminal use of personal information after he allegedly used a bank card to take money from another man who lives at the same address.

Williston Police Chief Dennis Strow said the victim reported money taken from his account  after a new card arrived in the mail and was reportedly used by someone else.

Andrew Lamarr Lee Jr., 44, admitted to taking the card, activating it and setting up a PIN number in order to steal from the account, Strow said.

After reviewing bank records, it was determined Lee used the victim’s bank card 13 different times and removed a total of $2,900 from the victim’s bank account.

During the investigation, photos of the defendant were recovered that depicted the various unauthorized transactions at the ATM machine.

Lee was also charged with three counts grand theft and 10 counts of petit theft. After his arrest, he was transported to the Levy County Jail.
