A Morriston man was arrested after he allegedly sped away from a traffic stop while driving his ATV.
Richard Lee Ethridge, 23, of Southeast 31st Place, Morriston, was charged with felony fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer and misdemeanor culpable negligence after leaving an attempted traffic stop on an ATV with a young boy riding with him. Deputy Allen Breeding stopped Ethridge and gave him a warning about riding the ATV and for the child not having proper protection. But, according to the report, Ethridge then left and sped away. The officer got him to stop and pulled in his path, but the driver then sped away again on Northeast 140th Avenue. Eventually he stopped at County Road 102 and Northeast 132nd Avenue and was arrested on the two charges. Total bond $3,000.
* Vicente Rocha Recentiz, 23, of Northeast 140th Avenue, Williston, was charged with no drivers license after being stopped on County Road 326 in Morriston because his truck left the roadway. Bond $1,000.
* David Ray Puckett, 42, of Northeast 2nd Street, Williston, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for violation of probation for maintaining a dwelling where drugs are sold.
* Willie Gilbert, 43, of Northeast 220th Avenue, Williston, was charged with petit theft and trespass after he was allegedly observed stealing gas from a truck at a construction company. Total bond, $2,000.
* William Meeks, 18, of Southeast 9th Street, Williston, was arrested on several charges related to possession and sale of cocaine, including within 1,000 feet of a school. Total bond, $85,000.
* William James Mero, 36, of Southeast 143rd Court, Morriston, was charged with attached tag not assigned after being stopped for speeding on County Road 326. Released on own recognizance.
* Debbie Barfield, 53, of Northeast 152nd Avenue, Williston, was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery after an incident at her home. Released on own recognizance.
* Juan O. Rodriguez, 58, of Northeast 140th Court, Williston, was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and tampering with a victim after an altercation at his home. Total bond $2,000.
* Kellie Marie Miller, 24, of Northeast 87th Court, Bronson, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for failure to appear, battery. Bond, $2,000.
* Vernon Scott Hagerman, 44, of Northeast 52nd Place, Bronson, was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. Bond $5,000.
* Larry Greenlee, 58, of Bronson, was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped at County Road 337 and Gilbert Street.
* Richard L. Lyons of Court Street, Bronson, was arrested for misdemeanor disorderly intoxication after a disturbance at a Bronson motel. Released on own recognizance.
* Linda Smith Bondurant, 52, of Northeast 74th Place, Bronson, was charged with felony possession of controlled substance without prescriptions. Released on own recognizance.
* James T. Andrews, 41, of Northeast Alt. Highway 27, Bronson, was charged with felony forgery and uttering a forged instrument after he cashed a check at a store in Bronson. Released on own recognizance.
* Sean W. Wilkerson, 25, of Northeast 85th Terrace, Bronson, was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery at a different Bronson address. Bond $5,000.
* Lloyd Aaron Roosa, 37, of Northwest 90th Avenue, Chiefland, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor resisting an officer without violence during an arrest on a Levy County warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Total bond, $12,000.
* James Arthur Davies Jr., 34, of Northwest 90th Court, Chiefland, turned himself in on a Levy County warrant for felony grand theft. Bond $5,000.
* Virtron Lamont Horton, 22, of Northeast 3rd Street, Chiefland, was arrested on an Alachua County warrant for failure to appear, domestic battery, and failure to appear, battery.
* Stacey Nygard, 18, of Northwest 124th Street, Chiefland, was charged with misdemeanor violation of no contact order, possession of cannabis more than 20 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, after being located at a home in Bronson. Total bond, $12,000. Cody J. Freeman, 18, of Southwest State Road 24, Otter Creek, was charged with violation of no contact order in the same case. Bond $10,000.
* Christy D. Moore, 19, of Northwest 132nd Place, Chiefland, was charged with domestic battery after an incident at his home. Released on own recognizance.
* Justin M. Zorilo, 20, of Gainesville, was charged with driving under the influence after being stopped on County Road 337 for failing to keep his vehicle on the roadway and allegedly failing a field sobriety test. Released on own recognizance.
* Leigh Anne Boyer, 36, of Merle Avenue, Cedar Key, was arrested at the Levy County Court House for contempt of court.
* Linda E. Wytiaz, 56, no home address, was charged with misdemeanor obstruction of highway or roadway after she said she was trying to get someone to stop and give her a ride. Bond $250.
* Emanuel James Pope Jr., 22, of Fort White, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for aggravated battery. Bond $75,000.
* John M. Lee, 44, of Crystal River, was charged with felony abuse of a disabled adult and resisting arrest without violence. Released on own recognizance.
* Reynaldo Orlando Salamaya, 21, of Groveland, was arrested on a felony charge of grand theft after allegedly stealing a weapon as he was moving out of a home on Northwest 170th Street in Levy County. Released on own recognizance, ordered not to have contact with the victim.
* Lawrence James Anderson, 25, of Spring Hill, was arrested on a felony warrant out of Franklin County for violation of probation for driving while license suspended or revoked. No bond.
* Stephanie Lynne Peeks, 38, of Gainesville, was arrested on a felony warrant out of Levy County for failure to appear, violation of probation agreement on charges of sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine. No bond.
* Ahogusto Gomez, 26, of Gainesville, was charged with misdemeanor no valid drivers license, attached tag not assigned and open container after being stopped at an FHP checkpoint at State Road 24 and Main Street in Bronson. Total bond $1,000.
* Thomas Miller, 40, of Micanopy, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for felony burglary of a structure and conveyance while unarmed and felony larceny theft of more than $300 and less than $5,000. Total bond, $10,000.
