The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, Oct 21, at the Levy County Quilt Museum and had a very busy day. Three quilts were brought in for quilting. Ann has hemmed the Star quilt and Peggy hemmed the Log Cabin Heart Quilt.
The bus has been reserved for going to the State Fair in February. The cost is $23 per person and we will pick up the passes to get in the fair when we go down to judge. This will be our third year to judge. If you want to reserve a seat on the bus, call 493-2801. If you want to pay ahead, send the check to the Museum at 10251 NW 10th Ave, Chiefland, 32626. The date to go is Tuesday, Feb. 15.
Greg and eight boys were out Tuesday and got a lot of cleaning done. They are so much help and we hope they are learning many good things. Thanks, Lancaster.
Our Thanksgiving dinner will be Nov. 18. We ask every to join us, just bring a covered dish. This year is passing so fast.
Thursday lunch was fried chicken, lasagna, squash casserole, fried egg plant, chicken and rice, peas, apple salad, musings, bread, cheese and macaroni and so much more.
