The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, Oct. 14 at the Levy County Quilt Museum. Everyone enjoyed reading the quilt books that were brought in. More fabric was also brought in. Joyce has made lots of tote bags for the children at Camp Caruth. More quilts were brought in for pictures to be taken.
Have you lost a quilt on Alt. 27 near 10th Avenue? One was found on the highway and was brought to the Museum. We hope we can find the owner. It must have blown out of a pickup and now, if you can identify it, it’s yours. Come by and see if you can tall us what kind it is, color and how it was quilted.
Greg and eight boys were out Tuesday. They mowed the yards, cleaned the flower beds, cleaned the floors and so much more. We appreciate everything they do for us. Thanks Lancaster.
Our Thanksgiving Dinner will be held Nov. 18, a week before Thanksgiving. We invite everyone to come, just bring a covered dish. This way everyone can enjoy their own Thanksgiving whenever they want it to be. Bring the family. We will also be setting the Quilt Show up as we start the 26th of November ending Dec. 5.
Thursday lunch was great with fried chicken, chili, soup, rice, fried okra, chicken salad, bread, jam, brownies, chocolate cake, cookies and what have you.
