The Friends of the Williston Public Library will hold the March First Saturday Book Fair, March 1 at the Williston City Hall Community Center.

The hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and, as always the best buys are for the early birds.

The Book Fair is a major source of donations for "Friends", because the books themselves are donated, as are the donations that people give to take the books home. Suggested donations amounts will be displayed in the center during the fair.

They are: hardbacks, $1; softbacks, 50 cents; paperbacks, 25 cents, puzzles and tapes (both video and audio), $1 and all children's books and magazines, 10 cents.

Volunteers who can work the book fair are asked to come to the center Thursday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. to bring books into the center; Friday, Feb. 29 at 9 a.m. to sort and display and then on Saturday to help with the fair itself.

The day of the fair is always fun as people see people they know and enjoy swapping likes and dislikes about books in general.
