Burglary suspect in Bronson caught

A series of burglaries in the Bronson area may have been cleared by the arrest of a local man by the Levy County Sheriff’s Office.

Lacey Howard, 30, of East Main Street, Bronson, was arrested for burglary and criminal mischief at Cole’s Four Corners and Capano’s Restaurant. He was also charged with criminal mischief at Capital City Bank and for burglary and petit theft at Progressive Insurance.

He was also arrested on a Levy County warrant for felony criminal mischief. His total bond was set at $41,500.

Other arrests reported by the Levy County Sheriff’s Office:

Wayne Carter Taylor, 58, of Hirst Street, Bronson, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after an incident at his home where a man tried to stop his sister from smoking crack with Taylor. No bond.

Quinton Lamar Harris, 26, of Northeast 212th Court, Williston, was charged with carrying a concealed firearm. Bond $2,500.

Santiago Urbano Velasco, 28, of Northeast 64th Avenue, Williston, was charged with no driver’s license (never had one) after he was stopped for driving in the turn lane with his emergency flashers on. Released on own recognizance.

Latasha Henry, 25, of Northeast 8th Street, Williston, was accused of two counts of battery after an altercation at a home in Williston. Total bond $2,000.

Kenneth M. Bertha, 58, of Inglis, was arrested for possession of under 20 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers allegedly found the items after arresting him for aggravated assault and battery. Bond $2,500 for the marijuana charges and $20,000 on the aggravated assault and battery charges.

Derle Barbee Dailey, 44, of Ocala, was accused of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was discovered parked along the railroad access road in Morriston. Total bond $3,500.

Brandon C. Pickel, 14, of Northeast 175th Avenue, Williston, was accused of burglary to a conveyance and petit theft, and felony criminal mischief after an incident involving thefts from a truck. The victims had realized someone was checking their truck and the officers put cash and cigarettes in the truck as “bait,” which had a powder that reflects a fluorescent color.

Jonathon J.C. Mitchem, 18, of Northeast 142nd Avenue, Williston, was arrested for aggravated assault after an incident in Williston. Bond $15,000.

Larry Andy Meeks Jr., 26, of Otter Creek, was accused of disorderly intoxication after an incident at the Bear’s Den in Fanning Springs. Bond $2,000.

DOMESTIC ARRESTS

Aaron Moses Beam IV, 29, of Inglis, was accused of domestic battery after an incident with his ex-girlfriend. He was also arrested on a Citrus County warrant for criminal mischief. Total bond $16,500.

Kameo Korrin Carter, 23, of Davis Street, Bronson, was accused of domestic battery at his home. Bond $2,500.

Melissa Joy Boone, 25, of Gainesville, was charged with aggravated assault after an incident at a home in Williston. Bond $2,500.

Karon Creal, 40, of Marshburn Road, Bronson, was accused of domestic battery after an incident at her home. Bond $5,000.

Robbie Bright, 14, of Northwest 120th Street, Bronson, was accused of domestic aggravated assault and domestic aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at his home.

Lisa M. Lewis, 30, of Northeast 6th Street, Williston, was accused of domestic violence battery. Bond $2,500.

Brian Keith Hill, 46, of Southeast 42nd Place, Morriston, was accused of domestic battery and false imprisonment after an incident at his home. Bond $10,000.

Melquis Enrique Derrico, 31, of Northeast 111th Street, Bronson, was accused of domestic battery. Bond $7,500.

WARRANT ARRESTS

Ernest A. Green, 33, of Crystal River, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for violation of probation, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana two counts. Total bond $10,000.

John Nicholas Arcangeli, 24, of Northeast 150th Avenue, Williston, was arrested on a Union County warrant for failure to appear, worthless check. Bond $1,500.

Lee Clarence Lewis Jr., 21, of Northeast 37th Place, Williston, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for violation of probation, sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine, for violating conditions of probation. No bond.

David Brian Fulcher, 45, of Fort Myers, was arrested on a Bay County warrant for violation of probation, failure to register as a sex offender.

William Michael Pratt, 24, of Old Town, turned himself in on a Levy County warrant for fraud, failure to redeliver hired leased property. Released on own recognizance.

Kevin E. Young, 28, of Inglis, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for pre-trial release condition violation for domestic violence (10 counts). Bond $60,000.

Traci Lynn Otis, 35, of Plant City, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for larceny - grand theft of a firearm. Bond $10,000.

Johnathan Phillip Henley, 17, of Northwest 90th Avenue, Chiefland, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for sale and possession of marijuana.

Candi Allred, 43, of Northwest 10th Avenue, Chiefland, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for fraud. Bond $2,500.

Termaine Antonio McQueen, 31, of Chiefland, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for possession of cocaine and sale of cocaine. Total bond $15,000.

Rawdy E. McCall, 23, of Chiefland, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for fraudulent use of credit cards and theft. Bond $6,000.

Wallace A. Lee, 28, of Gainesville, was arrested on an Alachua County warrant for violation of probation, sexual battery. No bond.
