The Levy County Sheriff’s Office reports the following arrests:
Robert Cherico, 48, of Northeast 109th Street, Bronson, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after he allegedly hit a motorcycle and its rider with a baseball bat. He reportedly told police he was tired of nothing being done about the boys riding on his street on motorcycles. Bond $15,000.
Christopher William Brockman, 22, of Northeast 71st Street, Williston, was charged with burglary and grand theft. He allegedly entered a home on Northeast 41st Street and took a barbecue grill, car amps, house amps, chop saw, television, five fishing poles, sub woofer and VDR. Total bond $10,000.
Aaron Wayne Haire, 21, of Northwest 66th Terrace, Chiefland was arrested for burglary and grand theft after the victim reported a chain saw and generator had been stolen. Total bond $10,000.
Charles M. Detomasi, 38, of Benton, Illinois, was charged with DUI after he was stopped traveling at 89 mph in a 55mph zone in the fog. Bond $5,000.
Norman C. Duncan, 53, of Inglis, was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly intoxication after he allegedly broke a mobile home window with a rake. Total bond $1,000.
Danny Demetrice Walker, 31, of Gainesville, was charged with not having a driver’s license and resisting without violence. When he was seen driving, he accelerated, drove into his grandmother’s yard in Bronson and ran from police, and later came back and tried to hide in the house. Total bond $1,500.
Teddy J. Marshall, 13, of Northeast 190th Avenue, Williston, was charged with burglary and petit theft after a safe and several tools were stolen from two residences. The burglary charge is a felony, and under Florida law, the names of juveniles charged with a felony is public record.
Christopher R. Tozzo, 24, of Northeast 71st Street Williston, was charged with possession of prescription medication after police went to arrest him on a violation of probation warrant and reportedly found the pills.
Johnny Walter Simmons, 62, of Inverness, was charged with DUI and two counts of refusing to sign a citation. Total bond $1,500.
Kevin Woodward, 25, of Northeast 116th Street, Archer, was accused of domestic violence battery after an incident at the victim’s home in which he allegedly threw her on the ground and kicked and hit her several times. Bond $3,500.
Michael G. Hayes, 55, of Northeast 110th Street, Bronson, was accused of domestic battery after he allegedly slapped the victim, knocked her down and kicked her in the side. Bond $10,000.
Edward W. Saltzman, Jr., 43, of Northwest 90th Avenue, Chiefland, was accused of domestic battery after he allegedly fought with the victim. Released on own recognizance.
Ruby Jean Henderson, 41, of Fanning Springs, was accused of domestic battery after an altercation at her home.
Timothy Layfield, 50, of Northwest 114th Place, Chiefland, was accused of domestic battery and depriving of 911 services after he allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat and broke the phone when she tried to call law enforcement. Total bond $5,000.
Regina M. Rhoomes, 43, of Trenton, Levy County warrant.
Jeffery C. Dockery, 48, of Southwest 2nd Street, Chiefland, Levy County warrant for violation of probation, sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine. No bond.
Toby Jay Castor, 43, of Northwest 50th Street, Chiefland, Writ of bodily attachment, $1,200 cash purge.
Ronnie Reshard McCray, 20, of Northeast 141st Avenue, Williston, Alachua County warrant for violation of probation, carrying a concealed weapon. No bond
Joseph Vigliotti, 19, of Northeast 60th Place, Bronson, Levy County warrant, violation of probation, grand theft. Bond $5,000.
Lucinda Thomas, 47, of Mongo Street, Bronson, violation of probation, aggravated assault with weapon. Bond $7,500.
Philip M. Rizer, 31, of Northeast 30th Place, Williston, Levy County warrant, failure to appear, larceny theft.
Richard Etheridge, 23, of Northeast 63rd Place, Williston, Levy County warrant, violation of probation, fleeing to elude. Bond $5,000.
Bryce Delury, 27, of Parma, Ohio, Monroe County warrant, failure to appear, fraud insufficient funds. Bond $2,000.
William Thomas Oliver, 44, of Cedar Key, writ of bodily attachment out of Putnam County for failure to pay child support. Purge amount $1,000.
Randolph John Samuels, 50, of Gainesville, Levy County warrant for failure to appear, violation of probation, possession of cocaine. Bond $15,000.
Jean Laurent, 53, of Rochester, N.Y., Levy County warrant, violation of probation, driving while license suspended or revoked. No bond.
Carlos Diaz Alanis, 21, of Southeast 62nd Street, Morriston, Levy County warrant, failure to appear, no driver’s license, never had one. Bond $1,000.
