A woman who expected to get money in envelopes from her parents was disappointed recently, and allegedly went through the parents house picking up some guns instead.
As a result, Kim Nicole DeWees, 30, of Bell was arrested for armed burglary.
According to the sheriff’s report, DeWees went to the parents’ home on U.S. 129 in Chiefland. When she was given the envelopes from the housekeeper and they contained no money, she allegedly “forcefully entered the residence without permission...”
