To the editor:
In 1984, I moved to North Central Florida from Dade County.
In all of these years, I wouldn’t let myself believe the Rescue Squads in this area were trained as well as they should be.
On April 7, I suffered a heart attack.
My experience with Levy County Rescue began with a most caring dispatcher, who told me I didn’t have to talk, just stay on the line with her. She assured me that help was on the way. She even told me when they turned onto my street.
