Despite a Herculean effort by the Red Devils’ David Heinkel, the Chiefland Indians took the Levy Cup in a 31-21 win at Booster Stadium Friday night.
The Indians’ offense showed up early in the game as they jumped out to a quick 17-0 lead after one quarter of play.
The Red Devil defense stopped the first Indian drive forcing a 24-yard field goal. After Heinkel returned the kickoff to the Indians 40-yard line, the Red Devils fumbled their second snap from center.
