On March 11, the Lady Red Devils traveled to Gainesville to play the Lady Hurricanes. The Lady Devils had little trouble with the Canes as they took a 14-0 win in five innings on the 10-run rule.
The win, however, was costly for the Lady Devils as starting pitcher Tori Stamper injured her pitching hand on a slide into second base. The injury was mainly to the middle finger of her pitching hand. Still showing some bruising and slight swelling on Monday night, Stamper said her hand was much better.
That night, the Gainesville Lady Hurricanes came to Williston for a rematch with the same Lady Red Devils minus Stamper.
