Buy a Paver; Honor Veterans

The plan to unveil a veterans’/war memorial in Heritage Park will be held Veterans Day 2017.

To date, more than $40,000 has been raised for the memorial.

A project by the Williston Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), the memorial will also honor veterans – living and dead – with stone pavers at its base.

For $50 an individual can honor a veteran with a paver/brick that has space available for three lines to recognize the veteran’s service. Veterans do not have to be from Williston – or Levy County – to be honored.

For more information, call the Williston Chamber of Commerce at 528-5552 or Carolyn at the Williston Pioneer at 528-3343.
