Former assistant principal says ‘thanks’

-A A +A

To the editor:
An open letter to  WHS Students/Families and the Williston community:
As I give thanks this holiday season for all of the many blessings in my life, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your wonderful support.
Over the past three and a half years, I have been blessed to call myself a WHS Red Devil and a member of the Williston community.
Thank you for allowing me to not only be part of your child’s education, but for also being part of their life.
Whether it be through the school’s tremendous sports programs, vocational programs, or extracurricular organizations, I have been honored to get to know so many talented and dedicated young adults.
I have worked at many schools throughout my educational career, and I can honestly say that there are no students quite like those at WHS.
The remarkable character of the WHS student body is a testament to the community at large, and to the amazing lessons these young adults have learned from individuals who love and support them in all aspects of their lives.
Thank you for letting me share in their journey as their assistant principal.
Although I am no longer at Williston High School, I will always consider myself a member of the Red Devil family and will continue to support the students and school as a member of this incredible community.
