The Rotary Club of Williston is hosting its 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The free Easter Egg Hunt has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 15 at the Johnny T. Henry Celebration Park on Northwest Fourth Street one block north of Noble Avenue and near the Williston Health Care Center.

The Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 15, from 10 a.m. until noon at the park. The Hunt itself will commence at 11 a.m. sharp. The event is intended for children aged 10 and under. There will be three different areas by age group. Kids 3 and under or those with a disability will have their parents accompany them on their hunt. Former Williston Council President Jake Cason will be grilling hotdogs for the children. Perkins State Bank is sponsoring a face painting booth with clowns!

Hotdogs, chips, beverages and ice cream will be provided free of charge to participants. Of course, Rotarians have stuffed the 2,000 plastic Easter eggs with candy and even some with dollar bills. Donations and support have been received from local businesses including Perkins State Bank, Progress Energy, Capital City Bank and the City of Williston for the use of the park and other resources, Norm D. Fugate, PA, Culligan Water, Hitchcock's Grocery Store, Robert E. & Kathleen Lowyns, DeConna Ice Cream, Nature Coast Hospital, SignMan Signs, Knauff Funeral Home and the First United Methodist Youth Fellowship.
