Drug task force turns to Bronson

Reports from the Levy County Drug Task Force keeping coming in, but now the focus has shifted from Williston to Bronson.

The Task Force announced eight arrests this week, some with multiple counts, all in the Bronson area.

Donna Kay Neal, 48, of Pine Street, Bronson, was charged with three counts of sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, two counts of possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, sale of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of a controlled substance. The sales occurred on April 22, April 25 and June 30. Locations were near the Hilltop School and the Bronson football field. Total bond was $90,000.

Margaret Jackson Brown, 44, of Pine Street, Bronson, was charged with maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, possession of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school (Levy County Alternative School), possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. Total bond, $19,500.

Robert L. Patterson, 46, of Bronson, was charged with possession of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school (two counts), possession of crack cocaine, and sale of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school (three counts). Total bond $75,000.

Jackie Lorene Mitchem, 49, of Pine Street, Bronson, was possession of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a public housing building and sale of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a public housing building.. Total bond $25,000.

Shirley Evette Wiggins, 41, of Pine Street, Bronson, was charged with sale of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school. Bond for the July 25 offense was set at $15,000.

Farrah Tyrhonda Jackson, 29, of Pine Street, Bronson, was charged with sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of cocaine with 1,000 feet of a school, possession of powder cocaine, sale of powder cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school and child abuse because she allegedly was holding her small child during the transaction. Total bond $60,000.

Ethel Greenlee Brinson, 73, of Pine Street, Bronson, was charged with maintaining a drug dwelling. Bond set at $1,000.

Antonio Deshae Wiggins, 26, of Bronson, was charged with possession and sale of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of public housing. Total bond was $25,000.
