Williston varsity baseball defense holds on to the district lead as the Red Devils have outscored their opponents this year 92-33 and boast a 17-4 record for the season.
With last year’s team having nine seniors leaving, eight of which were starters, the Red Devils are a young and upcoming team that has played as though they have been together for years.
Coach Scott Hall has led his team to the top of the district again this year with much in part to excellent defense allowing an average of only 4.1 runs per game with five shutouts.
